Clarence L. Sprouse

Columbiana- Clarence L. Sprouse, 82, entered the Gates of Glory on April 28 in the comfort and serenity of The Hospice House of Poland, OH.

Clarence was born on April 4, 1935 in Ironton, OH, a son of Ruben and Marie Sprouse. He loved his family, God, and life. Clarence’s motto was, “Stay Happy!”

Clarence’s laugh, smile and wit will be greatly missed by his sons and daughters-in-law Gregory and Melanie Sprouse, and Shawn and Lindsay Sprouse, both of Columbiana, OH; son-in-law Mark Johnson of Polaris, OH; grandchildren Malory Sprouse, Zack and Emily (Sprouse) Dorn, Natalie Sprouse, Taryn Sprouse, Libby Sprouse, and Troy Sprouse. Brother Phillip Sprouse of Elyria, OH, and sister Betty (Sprouse) Weiner of Parma, OH.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elva May (Triplett) Sprouse, and his cherished daughter Kimberly (Sprouse) Johnson.

Clarence retired in 1999 from the Ohio Brass in Newell, WV. He spent his retirement years fishing and enjoying his family.

A celebration service will be held at 3:00 P.M. at Old North Church, 7105 Herbert Rd, Canfield, OH 44406.

Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, from 1-3 P.M. at the church.

The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, OH, with the arrangements of their loved one.
