Donald "Chuck" Charles Lawrence

COLUMBIANA – Donald Charles “Chuck” Lawrence, 84, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, July 7, 2017.

Chuck was born on February 14, 1933, in East Liverpool, a son of William and Evelyn (Andric) Lawrence. He fought bravely in the US Army during the Korean conflict, and retired from IGS in Lowellville after 22 years.  A member of First Christian Church, Chuck was known for being a devoted husband who always had a smile and a joke ready for anyone he met.  He was a friendly people person who enjoyed making people laugh.  He will be missed by all who knew him.      

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Charlotte Mae Wilkes; three sons David, and Mark Lawrence and Fred Hennan; two daughters Elizabeth Hennan and Pam Eberle; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters Beverly Wells and Mary Bowser; and many nieces and nephews. 

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, his son Chucky Lawrence, and his sister Carolyn Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 11 at 6 pm at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm, two hours before the services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made to the family to help defray final expenses.
