Marguerite Hope (Nutter) Sircy

Marguerite Hope Sircy, 91, formerly of Main St, Columbiana OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2017, at Parkside Healthcare.

She was born on April 9, 1926, in their family home in Unity, OH to Bruce and Florence (Call) Nutter. Marguerite married James Sircy on February 18, 1948. She worked as a bakery manager at Country Corner and as a homemaker. Marguerite lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures before falling ill two years ago. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, visiting with friends, reading, studying God’s Word, going on 4am walks with her dear friend Roni Deley, and spending quality time with her family.

Marguerite Sircy is survived by her daughter, Rita (Tom) Brown, and six grandchildren; Cherie (Glen) Graham, Christine (Mike) Beadnell, Carla (John) Plegge, Carren (KC) Walters, Ed (Sheri) Brown, Amy (Dave) Arthurs.

She had eleven great grandchildren including John, Carl, Elizabeth, Charlene, Thomas, Zack, Brandon, Deanna, Brooke, Isaac, and Brady; as well as seven great-great grandchildren. Along with these family members were many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James; a daughter, Lori Sircy; son-in-law, Tom Brown; and five siblings.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Marguerite touched are invited to First Christian Church, 28 Cherry St, Columbiana OH from 11am-12pm on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 with the services to follow at noon and a processional to the Unity Red Brick Cemetery, Unity OH.

The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
