Wallace Combellick, 95, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2018.
Mr. Combellick was born on November 25, 1923 inGettysburg, SD, a son of Ancil and Nelle (Jost) Combellick. He served in the US Army during World War II. After his service he studied, earning his Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Mr. Combellick came to this area working in the research department for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron.
Wallace married his wife, the former Grace Parsons Huff, and together they would spend 27 beautiful years. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and collecting M&M memorabilia.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife Grace of North Lima, his children Judy Rinker and Terry (Amy) Huff; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; nephews Paul (Leslie) Combellick and Dan Combellick; and several great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Combellickwas preceded in death by his parents, his siblings and son-in-law.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, January 12, 2019, at the Inn at Glenellen Senior Living, 9661 Market St., North Lima Oh, 44452.
