NORTH LIMA - Amelia "Millie" Kuntz, 92, passed away on Tuesday, October 28 at the home of her daughter, with whom she lived. Millie was born March 5, 1922 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a daughter of Matilda and John Ellwood. She met and married William "Bill" Kuntz in 1948 and moved to the Youngstown area. Bill and Millie were married for 38 years when he passed away in May of 1986. Together they were members of Good Hope Lutheran church in North Lima, where Millie participated in the Dorcas circle. They were also members of Sigma Club of Youngstown. Millie was a member of Fleur-de-Lis garden club and Illilee club. A true delight in Millie's life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Millie was preceded in death by her brothers Jack and Tom and sisters Evelyn and Marion. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Diane (Richard) Johnson of North Lima with whom she made her home and son David (Sandra) Kuntz of Columbiana; five grandchildren Jesse Johnson of New York, Jodi Almeida of Deerfield Beach, Jill Pereira of Myrtle Beach, Emily Booth of Columbus, Laura Kuntz of E. Lansing; and four great grandchildren Lilliana Pereira, Rodrigo and Mateus Almeida and Samuel Booth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial tributes be made in Millie's name to: Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., North Lima, OH 44452, or Grace Hospice of Ohio, 7206 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44512. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Grace Hospice for the excellent care and compassion they provided. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
