Obituary

Mrs. Anita L. Dickson, 95, of 930 E. Park Ave. Columbiana, Ohio, passed away at 6:40 p.m. at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana, on Monday, July 17, 2006, following a brief illness. Anita was born on August 25, 1910 in Bruin, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John A. and Eva Campbell. Anita moved to the local area in 1930. She was a retired school teacher. She taught 5th grade from 1934-1971 for 35 years at Greenford Elementary. She was a member of the Greenford Lutheran Church, a 1932 graduate of Grove City College, a 50 year member of Eastern Star Lodge #253 and a life member of Ohio retired teachers association. Mrs. Dickson was preceded in death on November 16, 1985 by her husband, James M. Dickson, they were married June 14, 1945. She is survived by two sons James M. Dickson of Columbiana and Donald E. Dickson of Sebring, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister and four brothers. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Pastor John Fox officiating. A committal service will be held at the Hillview Cemetery in Kepples Corners, Pennsylvania at 2:30 p.m on Friday, July 21, 2006. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Friday, July 21, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana. Family suggests that material contributions may be made to the church.
