Obituary

Anna C. Reash, 92, of Columbiana, Ohio, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on November 14, 2008 at the Hospice House in Poland. Mrs. Reash was born on April 25, 1916 in Lisbon, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Ora (Murray) Crosser. Anna moved to Columbiana in 1951. She attended the Grace Congregational Church, where she was a member of the Women's Guild and worked as secretary at the church in past years. Mrs. Reash was a cook for Joshua Dixon School in Columbiana for several years. Anna was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and served as a past 4-H leader for many years. Mrs. Reash also enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading. Anna was preceded in death on March 17, 1987 by her husband Kenneth B. Reash, whom she married on January 29, 1949. She is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Marc) Smith of Austin, Texas; one son, Keith (Shelley) Reash of Columbiana; and four grandchildren, Kris, Tim, Samantha and Lindsay. Anna was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Paul, Donald and Carl Crosser and by one sister, Camille Kelton. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Rev. Robert Joy officiating. Burial will be in the Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2008 and from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2008, at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana. Material Contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley or the Grace Congregational Church.
