Anna Mae Root, 95 of 1915 Columbiana Rd., New Springfield, Ohio, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006 at her residence. She was born on April 9, 1911 in Melville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William and Katherine Pail Mitzel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, a son Bill Root and four brothers, William, Robert, Joe, and John Mitzel and a grandson Matthew Root. She leaves a daughter, Mary Ann Root of New Springfield; two sons, Russell (Ruth) Root of Edinburg, Pa. and Tom (Diane) Root of Bryan, Ohio; a sister Elva Knight of Canfield; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law Janet Root of New Middletown. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the North Lima Funeral Home.
