POLAND – Private services were held for Anna Mae Sheets, 87, who passed away early Monday afternoon, February 13, 2017 at the Woodlands at Hampton Woods in Poland.

Anna Mae was born on August 4, 1929 in New Middletown, OH, a daughter of Orville and Floy (Young) Burkey. She was of the Lutheran faith. Anna Mae enjoyed cooking and baking, and in her spare time liked to tend to her garden. But most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.

Anna Mae leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Tina Giesey and her husband David of Poland, with whom she made her home; a daughter-in-law Rosa Sheets of Niles; five grandchildren Terri Schneider, Jessica (Kevin) McMannis, James Sheets, Kayci (Joe) Korchnak, and Sarah Giesey; ten great-grandchildren Kathryn, Cole, Kaylee, Logan, Anthony, Elizabeth, Able, Olivia, Legand and Joey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son James, who passed in November 2016, and her sister, Dorothy Zohnd.

The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
