POLAND - Barbara Ann Kutris, 57, of Poland, passed away at Hospice House late Saturday evening, May 31, surrounded by her family following a long battle with cancer. Barbara was born on October 29, 1956 in Youngstown, a daughter of Stanley and Mary (Span) Butryn. She graduated from Boardman High School in 1975. She married John Kutris September 24, 1983 and was a member of Mt. Olivet United Church of Christ. She worked in dietary services at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, and also part-time in the deli at the Struthers IGA. She enjoyed shopping, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her two grandchildren. Barbara leaves to cherish her precious memory John, her husband; her two daughters, Jessica (fiancAC. Christopher Bellino) Kutris of Poland and Ashley (William Tomalka) Kutris of New Middletown; two grandchildren, Kamryn, seven years old and Hailey, one year old; her mother Mary Butryn of Anaheim, CA; a brother Stanley, and a sister Cindy. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4 at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Olivet UCC, 410 West South Range Road, North Lima with the Rev. Melinda Quellhorst officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 4 from 12- 2:30 p.m. at Mount Olivet UCC, 410 West South Range Road, North Lima, OH 44452. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Barbara's memory to the Hospice House, 9803 Sharrot Rd, Poland, OH 44514.
