Barbara June Reed, 61, of 7632 Rose Drive, Lisbon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2007 at Salem Community Hospital from complications of multiple sclerosis. Barbara was born on May 22, 1946 in Frozen Camp, West Virginia, the daughter of Oliver and Merlin McClanahan Snyder. Mrs. Reed moved to Columbiana from West Virginia in 1951. She was a homemaker. In earlier years she worked in Nashville, TN. for Trebeka Nazarene College as a Preschool Aid and also worked at Hills Department store. Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Crestview high school. She was a former member of the Church of the Nazarene in Columbiana and the Church of the Nazarene in Toronto, Ohio. Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband, Tinker Reed, whom she married July 10, 1975. One son, Trevor (Crystal) Reed of Madison, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Wanda (Owen) Carrico of Clarksburg, West Virginia and Miss Linda Snyder of Leetonia; five brothers, William (Marsha) Snyder of Ravenna, Danny (Ladene) Snyder of Chippewa, PA., David (Martha) Snyder of Negley, Jerry Snyder of Colorado Springs, CO. and Thomas (Kathy) Snyder of Columbiana; and one granddaughter, Tehya Reed. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Merlin Snyder. A Funeral Service will be held June 15, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Pastor Westley J. Hunting officiating. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
