Obituary

Bernard V. Spurio Sr., 61, of North Lima, Ohio, passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center on August 9, 2007. Mr. Spurio was born on July 17, 1946 in Campbell, Ohio, the son of Victor and Stella P. Tracz Spurio. Bernard was a lifelong area resident and moved to North Lima in 1977. He worked as a mechanic for General Electric for 30 years. Bernard served in the U.S. Army from 1964-1967 and also served in the National Guard for six years. He was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and was a life time member of the American Motorcycle Association. Mr. Spurio is survived by his wife, the former Bobbie Jo Ludwig, whom he married on March 4, 1968. He is also survived by one daughter, Tracy Lee Gregory and her husband Clint of Richmond, VA.; one son, Bernard Spurio Jr. and his wife Christine of Unity and five grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima with Rev. Terry A. Babe officiating. The burial will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7-9 pm Monday, August 13, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. Material Tributes can be made to the American Heart Association. Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
