WARREN - Berneda 'Bea' M. Price, 92, formerly of Columbiana, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 24, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren surrounded by family. Bea was born on November 15, 1922 in Leetonia, a daughter of Elmer and Elsie (Hall) Swindell. A 1940 graduate of Columbiana High School, she married Paul E. Price on December 24, 1941. Bea was an active member in her church, the First United Methodist Church of Columbiana. She enjoyed the church bible study and the bell choir. She was employed by Columbiana public schools for 12 years as a cook. She was a member of T.O.P.S., and excelled at making rag rugs. She leaves to cherish her precious memory four daughters, Carol Jean Jones of Leavittsburg, Joyce Kimble of Medina, Juanita Gamble and her husband Robert of Columbiana and Paulette Champney and her husband Edward of New Middletown; a son Wayne Price and his wife Debra of New Waterford; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul who passed away July 19, 1992, one grandchild, and three sisters, Clara Slagle, Vida Kelm, and Ida Nichols. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 29 at 11 a.m. at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana with Pastor Joshua Conley officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 28 from 6-8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
