Bessie B. Gaskill, 101, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center May 1, 2012. She was born April 22, 1911, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Mathias and Ann Shier Drexler. Bessie married John W. Gaskill on October 12, 1932. John passed away August 10, 1994. She spent her life as a homemaker, and was Catholic by faith. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Patricia (Michael) Meade of Leetonia and a son, Daryl (Joan) Gaskill of Columbiana, as well as 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents, two sisters and four brothers preceded Bessie in death. Private viewing and services for the family will be held.
