Betty J. Dunlap, 86, of North Lima, passed away at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the Assumption Village. Mrs. Dunlap was born on May 21, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Vince and Maude Graves Cumiskey. Betty was a life-long area resident. She owned and operated a five and dime store in Youngstown, Ohio in the 1950's. She also worked as a cashier and salesperson at several other businesses. She was a member of the V.F.W. auxiliary of New Springfield, Triangle Post 2799. She also loved animals and to golf. She was preceded in death by Ruth Thomas, Ralph Cumiskey and two still born children and in 1999, by her husband Vernon Dunlap. She is survived by a sister Mrs. Marjorie Mills of North Lima and several nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at the funeral home. Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima was entrusted with the arrangements.
