Columbiana, OH - Betty Lou Lundberg James, 82, of Columbiana, OH, passed away on Saturday, September 03, 2016. Betty was born November 26, 1933 in Bellevue, KY, the daughter of the late Edward L. and Lula Belle Bedell. Preceeded in death by her first husband, Victor E. Lundberg, Jr., son, John E. Lundberg and brother, Edward L. Bedell, Jr. Betty was a Mother, Wife and servant to our Lord Jesus Christ. She belonged to the First Christian Church, Columbiana, OH and sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, played the piano and was a member of the Priscilla Circle. Betty previously worked for Swopes Valu King in North Lima and retired from Sears Roebuck in Boardman. Betty is survived by her current husband, William J. James, Jr. ("Bill"), son Victor E. Lundberg, III (Barbara) of Las Vegas, NV; his children Victor E. Lundberg IV and Tamara A. Rowan; great-grandchildren Indiana, Cordelia and Victor Lundberg, V and Tyree Rowan; son D. Eric Lundberg (Kimberly) of Indianapolis, IN; his children Duncan and Nicole Lundberg; daughter Brenda E. Lundberg of Rochester Hills, MI; her children Jarod Casey and Christian Lundberg, and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves her younger sister Donna Neidenbach of Ft. Thomas, KY. Betty was known for her love of the Church, caring, compassion, generosity and kindness. Friends and family may call on Friday, September 9, at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm St., Columbiana, OH from 6 to 8 p.m. and for a viewing on Saturday, September 10, at First Christian Church, Columbiana, OH from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by services conducted by Minister John Reed and a luncheon. Internment will take place at Columbiana Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made in Betty Lou's memory to First Christian Church, 39 Cherry Street, Columbiana, OH 44408 or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
