Boardman, Ohio, passed away at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at the Northside Medical Center in Youngstown. Betty was born on August 11, 1929 in New Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Howard and Rosalie Goodwin Reel. She was a life-long resident of Youngstown. She worked at McCrory Department Store in downtown Youngstown for 39 years as a clerk. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in New Springfield where she was a member of the Keystone Class and she was organist for many years at the church. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School of Youngstown in 1947. She is survived by several cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Wilbur Reel. Services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima with Rev. Mary Murtha officiating. Burial will be in Lake Park Cemetery.
