BOARDMAN – Carol Linda Mentzer, 75, of Columbiana, passed away Thursday morning, August 29, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman.

Carol was born on August 8, 1949, in Salem, a daughter of J. Vernon and Mary Rebecca (Paden) Rupert. She graduated as an LPN from Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing, and was a travelling LPN, traveling to Alaska, Maine, Louisiana, and all over Ohio. Carol was a former President of the local LPN Association, and also a member and former President of the 4-H. She enjoyed traveling, and she met many beautiful people in all different places.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughter Holly Jo (Troy) Fox; grandsons Jayden, Elijah, and Austin; and siblings Becky Brady, Debbie MacLellan, Tim Rupert, Jackie Rupert-Johnson, Cindy Taylor, and Jesse Rupert.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Daniel "Jake" Westfall.

Per Carol's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
