Carol A. Turner, 57, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away on September 24, 2008 at her home unexpectedly. Mrs. Turner had suffered from Lupus for 35 years. Carol was born on February 6, 1951 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of C. Loren and Lila (Heinze) Lipply. Carol was a 1969 graduate of Columbiana High School and attended YSU. She was a teller at Mahoning Bank for 18 years, retiring in 1997. Mrs. Turner was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Cornersburg and the Saxon Club. Carol enjoyed flower arranging, gardening, sewing and doing crafts. Carol is survived by her husband Gary F. Turner, whom she married on August 18, 1973. Other survivors include, one son, Daniel (Bernadette) Turner of Austintown, Ohio; one grandson, Daniel; three brothers, Lee (Deb) Lipply, Terry (Denise) Lipply and Keith Lipply all of Columbiana. Carol was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Sue Lipply. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in North Lima with Pastor Dale Giffin officiating. Burial will be in the New Springfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2008 and from 12-1 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008, all at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. She will be sadly missed by all.
