Cecil F. Esenwein, age 84, of Columbiana, OH, passed away at 2:04am Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Salem Community Hospital. Mr. Esenwein, the son of Frederick William and Ida (Fox) Esenwein, was born on January 26, 1926 in Leetonia, OH. Cecil worked as a time keeper at N.R.M National Rubber Machinery. He later owned and operated the Cities Service Station of Columbiana for fifteen years, and then worked as a utility man at G.M. Lordstown for twenty-three years until his retirement. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Columbiana, a member of Allen Lodge 276 F. & A.M. of Columbiana, and also was a past volunteer firefighter for Columbiana. Cecil was proceeded in death on July 31, 2010 by his wife, Ada G. (Kabler) Esenwein, whom he married on July 3, 1947. Survivors include, one son, Fred (Mary) Esenwein of Harrisburg N.C. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Fred and Kurt. Services will be held Thursday January 20th 2011 at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home Columbiana at 11:00 am with Mr. Clarence Mansfield of the church officiating. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday January 19th 2011 at the funeral home.
