Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana for Cheryl L. Gauding, 49, of Leetonia, who passed away Saturday afternoon at the Hospice House. Cheryl was born on August 25, 1962, in Salem, the daughter of Martin and Evelyn (Baker) Logan, and was a lifelong area resident. She had previously been employed by the Das Dutch Haus Restaurant in Columbiana. Her love of children led her to open Cheryl's Happy Kids Daycare. Cheryl attended the Greenford Christian Church. She loved camping and going to 4-H meetings and football games. She was a previously little-league football coach. Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Dean, whom she married September 25, 1982; her sons, Joshua Lee and Gregory James, both at home; three brothers, William Logan of Enon Valley, Pa., Martin (Laura) Logan of Struthers, and Keith "Rick" (Shonna) Logan of Petersburg; and a sister, Patricia Bender, of Cleveland. Besides her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Mimi Logan. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
