Bluffton, OH - Christina E. Detwiler, 90, passed away December 25 at Willow Ridge in Bluffton, OH. Christina was born on April 6, 1925 in Fairfield Township, a daughter of Lester W. and Mary (Ziegler) Detwiler. She previously resided at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Bluffton, OH and also the Marimor MRDD Seniors in Lima, OH. Although 'Tina' had limited ability to communicate her whole life, she was loving and much loved by all who knew her. Christina leaves to cherish her precious memory her sister Joyce (Donald) Hostetler of Bluffton, OH and her brother Willard (Patricia) Detwiler of Prescott, AZ and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carolyn (Ralph) Basinger, and her brothers Ray (Bess) and Harold (Jean) Detwiler. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9 at 1 p.m. at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana. The family will receive friends at noon, an hour before the services at the funeral home. A memorial service was held at her residence in Willow Ridge in Bluffton,OH on January 5, 2016.
