Colleen Ellen Kinney, 39, 3365 Townsend St. NW Uniontown, OH, passed away following a sudden illness in the early evening on Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Colleen was born on September 6, 1968 in Royal Oak, Michigan, the daughter of Edward R. and Virginia E. Ferris Kinney, Jr. Colleen was an accountant for the Timken Family of Timken Roller Bearing Co. for five years. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana. Colleen graduated from Columbiana High School in 1986 then attended the University of Findlay where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Equestrian Studies. She moved to North Carolina where she graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting. Besides her parents, Colleen is survived by her sister Andrea M. Kidder of East Palestine; two brothers Edward "Jr." Kinney and his wife Sandy of Medina and Dominic Joseph Kinney of Columbiana; her fiancAC.e Rick Elbert of Windsor, Ohio and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana with Rev. Thomas Ziegler officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in East Palestine. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2008 and 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana. In lieu of flowers, family suggests that material tributes be made to the National Right to Life Association in Colleen's memory.
