Obituary

Dale M. Langer, 59, of Columbiana, passed away Sunday, November 13, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, and is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, walking the streets of gold that he lived his life to attain. Dale was born on November 28, 1951 in Euclid, the son of the late Frank and Marilyn (Hoag) Langer. A 1970 graduate of Columbiana High School, he attended the Hiram-Scott College in Nebraska. He had been employed by the Youngstown Propane Co. as a salesman for over 20 years. Dale was very active in the Abundant Life Fellowship of New Waterford, where he was a Sunday school teacher and active in the Men's Ministry. He also had a passion for sports as an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers. Dale and his wife were also foster parents for the Bair Foundation for seven years, and was a foster dad to several children. Dale leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Kimberly (Jorza), whom he married May 11, 2002; his sons, Ty and Beau Graham, both at home; his brothers, Gregory and Frank (Deanna); his sisters, Beth Ann (John) Carroll and Barbara (Bruce) Kozma; nieces Rachel and Katie Carroll, Shannon (Mike) Majzum, Jody, Trisha, Megan, Amanda, Frankie and Barbara Lynn Kozma, Marilyn (Sean) Greig, and Christine Langer; and nephews Ray, Joe, Nick, and Michael Carroll, Alexander and Bruce Kozma Jr., Blake (Stephanie) Kozma, and Nicholas Langer. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Benjamin Kozma. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 17, at the Abundant Life Fellowship Church with Pastors Jeff Schoch and Ed Sferra officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the services Thursday at the church. The family suggests that material contributions be made to the Bair Foundation. The Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
