David Clay, 49 of 236 Maplecroft Ave. North Lima, passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2009. David was born November 30, 1959 in Youngstown, the son of George C. and the late Margaret E. Griffin Clay. Mr. Clay was a truck driver in earlier years. He loved sports and stock car racing. David attended Simon Rd. Church of God. Survivors include his father George Clay of North Lima; a daughter Alisha Clay of Tampa, Florida; a son David Clay of Austintown and two brothers Frank (Brenda) Clay of Boardman and Tim (Debra) Clay of Youngstown. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima with Pastor Eddy Howard officiating. Burial will be in Brunstetter Cemetery in Austintown. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Simon Rd. Church of God in Boardman.
