YOUNGSTOWN - Dean A. Foster Jr., 19, of New Waterford, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 9 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown from injuries sustained due to an automobile accident. Dean was born on January 9, 1997, in Beaver, PA, a son of Dean and Sara (Westfall) Foster Sr. A 2015 Crestview High School graduate, He also graduated from the welding program at Columbiana County Career and Technical Center. Dean worked at Morgan Crane and Columbiana Boiler as a welder, and attended Columbiana Nazarene Church. He enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his friends. Dean loved the Minnesota Vikings and Captain America and making people laugh. He played football and was a great wrestler in high school and volunteered for the wrestling program at Crestview middle school and high school. He loved his family, and goofing around with his sister Megan, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Dean leaves to cherish his memory his parents Dean and Sara; his sister Megan at home; his paternal grandparents Donald and Barbara Foster; aunts and uncles Sherry O'Dell of S.C, Mary K. (Raymond) Miller of East Liverpool, and Tamara (Gary) Reiss of Granville, OH, Delda (Kelly) Lauffenburger of Olathe, KS, Donald (Pam) Foster Jr., and Ronald (Connie) Foster, all of Lisbon; cousins Jessica, Ron, Courtney, Amanda, Marie, Donny, Nathan, Micah, Caleb, Kyle, Edward and Gretchen; special family friends Mark and Bonnie Boley, who knew Dean since he was born; and his girlfriend Molly Conser. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents David and Mary Alice Westfall. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana with Pastor Jan Winnale officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana, and also at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, an hour before the services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at New Waterford Cemetery.
