COLUMBIANA - Donna Jean Ashley Johnson, 80, passed away late Easter Sunday evening at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center, with her family around her. Donna was born on January 18, 1935 in Youngstown, the daughter of Kenneth R. and Evelyn M. (Walker) Ashley. A 1952 graduate of South High School, she worked at Sears in the credit office, and was a bookkeeper and real estate agent for Swagler Realtors for many years in Columbiana and Boardman. She also worked at Wells Drugstore and was an office secretary at Stamets Industries. Donna was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church of Boardman. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her sons Donald Mark, James David (Jane), Bradley Scott (Teresa), Jeffrey Alan, all of Columbiana, and Douglas Paul of Dallas, TX; her beloved life partner since 1993 Maurice B. LaPointe, at home; sister Norma R. Remias of Canfield; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Johnson, whom she married on May 16, 1953 and who passed away December 23, 1991; a son Robert Keith Johnson; and a sister Carol Louise Rich. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday April 8 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home 154 S. Elm Street, in Columbiana. Friends may call one hour before services.
