Columbiana, Ohio, passed away at 2:34 am on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Parkside Health Care Center. Mrs. Abravaya was born on August 10, 1922 in Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Eli and Mary Morgan. Doris moved to the local area from Tilson, New York in 1989. She worked for Heinz Corp. of New Paltz, New York as a machine operator for 15 years. She was a member of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death on December 22, 2005 by her husband, Joseph Abravaya. They were married September 30, 1950. Survivors include a daughter Victoria Freeman and her husband James of Columbiana; a son Victor Abbey of Los Angeles, California; a sister Mrs. Alice Paris of Chandler, North Carolina; a brother Nick Morgan of Lachine, Quebec, Canada and two grandsons Ian MacGillivray and Sean MacGillivray. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Namy officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Park Cemetery in New Jersey.
