POLAND - Doris E. Bokesch, 51, of Poland, passed away suddenly early Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. She was born on October 11, 1961 in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Lucille (Pennington) Sheldon. Doris graduated from South Range High School in 1979. She was employed as a benefits claims adjuster at Trustmark Insurance Company for over 20 years. She loved the sun and water, and especially enjoyed the times she could spend at the beaches in Florida. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Gregory; her mother Lucille; three sisters, Trudy (Jim) Vrabel of Parma, Mary Sue Bailey of New Waterford, and Janet Ondray of North Lima; two brothers, Greg Glass of Vancouver, WA and John (Cindy) Sheldon of Columbiana; mother-in-law Dorothy Bokesch of Canfield; sister-in-law Lynne Dutton of Canfield; and brother-in-law Michael (Holly) Bokesch of Poland. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her father John Sheldon and by her father-in-law Michael Bokesch. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at Paradise United Church of Christ, 10020 New Buffalo Road, Canfield, with Rev. John Werner officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 3 at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in North Lima 11500 Market Street.
