Dorothy Vest, 76, formerly of Wind Rose Ct. in Columbiana, passed away Tuesday Dec. 6 at 2:52 p.m. at her daughter Carla's home in Warren. Dorothy was born December 21, 1934, the daughter of Edmund and Mae (Bryan) Moore. A 1952 graduate of New Springfield High School, Dorothy moved from New Springfield to Columbiana 15 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith. Dorothy is survived by her family, daughters; Carla (Rick) Wallace of Warren and Lori (John) Hammer of Plano, Tex.; sons Edmund "Skip" (Darlene) Anderson of Lisbon and Chad Knapp of Oklahoma. She also leaves five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Anderson, her brother Bill Moore, and her sister, Marjorie Crum. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 13, at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana officiated by Chaplain Kathleen Zimmerman. The family would like to cordially invite those that attend the memorial service to join them at a luncheon at Heck's Restaurant in Columbiana immediately following the services.
