Eddie L. Ondrey, 48 of North Lima passed away Sunday morning, October 31, 2010 at his home from complications of diabetes. Eddie was born July 12, 1962 in Youngstown a son of John & Doris Ondrey. He was a 1980 graduate of Struthers High School where he was an outstanding football and baseball player. Eddie was a graduate of the Y.S.U. Police Academy and drove a truck for several area trucking companies as well as Tartan Textiles, Shaw and Shore Lander. Eddie went to New Castle School of Trades where he took Body Shop. He was an avid motorcycle rider enjoying his Harley-Davidson Electricglide. Eddie coached football for the Steel Valley Hardhats, Crestview Renegades and Pittsburgh Storm. Besides his mother of Struthers, Eddie leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Jan Sheldon whom he married May 24, 1997 a daughter Michelle Ondrey of Struthers, a son A. J. Ondrey at home, a brother Michael (Charlene) Ondrey of Boardman, nieces Brittany & Brianna and two aunts Carrie Blum and Maggie Kozach. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday November 4, 2010 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home 11500 Market Street, North Lima. Friends may call from 4 to 8 Wednesday November 3, 2010 at the funeral Home.
