Edward Eugene Kidd, 80, of Warren, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at his home in Warren. He was born September 24, 1929 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the son of Arthur Kidd and Agnes Hazel (Seders) Kidd. Mr. Kidd moved to Mahoning County to work at the Youngstown Sheet and Tube in 1948. After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he married Mary Elizabeth Andress in 1952. He retired from the steel mill in 1978 when it closed. Edward in survived by two daughters, Karen Kidd of Salem, Ohio and Patricia Kidd of Salem, Ohio; one son, Rev. David Edward (Robin) Kidd of Salem, Ohio; one brother, Ross (Marie) Kidd of Salem, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Jordan, Alex and Kaitlin. Mr. Kidd was preceded by his daughter, Colleen Angela Kidd in 1964. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Rev. David Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2010 and one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
