Edward H. Weber, age 85 of New Springfield, OH passed away at 10:05am Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman, OH. Mr. Weber, the son of William and Sarah Teague Weber, was born on April 6, 1925 in Youngstown, OH. Edward worked as an electrician for L.T.V. Steel Co. for over 30 years from where he retired. Edward was a W.W.II Army veteran and served in the Infantry Third Division in Europe and had received 2 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, a Bronze Star, a Good Conduct Medal, and a Distinguished Unit Badge. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post 2799 in New Springfield, OH. Edward was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in New Middletown, OH. Edward is survived by his wife Claudia (Taylor) Weber, whom he married on May 17, 1996. Besides his wife he is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was the last of a family of 10 children; six sisters and 3 brothers Elizabeth Mauck, Jessie Burcsak, Margaret Weber, Helen Miller, Rose Weber, and Catherine McCleery, and brothers William, Charles and John Weber. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New Middletown, OH at 10:00am with Rev. Stephen Popovich officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday December 10, 2010 at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in North Lima, OH.
