Elsie V. Yoder, 91, of Columbiana, passed away Sunday, July 15 at her home. Elsie was born on January 25, 1921 in North Lima, a daughter of William R. and Emma (Horst) Yoder. She lived in the Columbiana area all her life. A 1939 graduate of North Lima High School, she worked for Landmark and Agrigeneral as an egg grader. She retired in 1985 after twenty years. Elsie enjoyed quilting and gardening. Elsie leaves to cherish her precious memory two sisters, Miss Elva Yoder of Goshen, Indiana and Miss Ruth Yoder of Denver, Colorado; one nephew; and several cousins. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday July 31 at North Lima Mennonite Church with the Reverend Bob Wengerd officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday July 30 at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in North Lima and also one hour before services at the church. Burial will follow at Midway Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Elsie suggested that people donate to their favorite charity. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert, and a sister, Verna Yoder.
