Erma Smith, 98, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Hospice of the Valley. She was born June 23, 1913 and lived in this area all her life. Erma was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harold, three sisters, Hazel, Gladys, and Rose; three brothers, Allen, Clyde and Russell Weaver, and one grandson. Mrs. Smith is survived by her three daughters, Darla (Harold) Allen, Elaine (Ron) Rapp, Carol Sandfrey and friend Gary Merryman; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and her sister Florence Morey. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley, Poland.
