Ethel Marie Cross, 80, of Hanoverton, Ohio passed away Monday, June 19th, 2019. She was born July 27, 1938 to the late Arthur and Kathryn (Vollnogle) Gotthardt. Ethel married the late Walter "Wally" Cross on May 17, 1982.

She retired as a baker from Woolworth's. Ethel was an active member and Sunday School teacher at the First Brethren Church of North Georgetown. She was an avid bowler and loved to bake. She and her late husband Wally raised and showed rabbits, winning many awards.

Ethel is survived by her niece Patricia Kent Baughman (fiancé Bob Sherrill) of Hanoverton, several great nieces and nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Berlin Armentrout, her second husband Walter "Wally", a sister Mary A. Kent, and a nephew Robert A. Kent.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Monday, June 24 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral, 154 S. Elm St., Columbiana, Ohio 44408. Burial will take place at Crest Haven Cemetery in Rogers, Ohio.
