Gloria "Jo" M. Cline, 78, of 235 W. Friend Street, Columbiana, Ohio passed away Monday January 2, 2006 at 2:20 p.m. at her home following a brief illness. She was born on April 26, 1927 in Honeywell, Kentucky the daughter of Melvin and Esther Picklesimer sturgill. She moved to the local area in 1945 and was a homemaker. She loved to cook, sew and garden. She was preceded in death on August 2, 1992 by her husband Carroll K. Cline whom she married November 18, 1945. She is survived by two daughters, Carol J. Goodwin and her husband John and Victoria A. Soroka and her husband John both of North Lima, Ohio; a son Terrence C. Cline of Salem, Ohio, four sisters, two brothers, nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. A private service will be held on Wednesday January 4, 2006 at the Paradise United Church of Christ Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Geitgey officiating. Burial will be in Paradise United Church of Christ Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Family suggests material tributes be made to donors favorite charity.
