Columbiana, Ohio, passed away at 5:42 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at her residence from infirmities of age. Goldie was born on April 25, 1915 in New Waterford, the daughter of Harvey C. and Grace Rauch Kibler. Mrs. Muntean was a life-long area resident. She worked for the Ohio Turnpike as a toll both collection person, retiring in 1985. She was also a part-time mail rural carrier for Columbiana and worked at the former Central Porcelain Co. of Columbiana. Goldie enjoyed quilting. She is survived by a daughter Kathryn Sue Steinhauer and her husband Gary of Torrance, CA; a son Dennis Muntean and his wife Joy of Columbiana; a brother Lloyd Kibler of Cleveland; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Muntean was preceded in death by two brothers Willis Kibler and Kenneth Kibler and two sisters Mary Shepherd and Gladys Kibler. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Rev. John Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in East Palestine. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
