Pittman, 88 of 2421 Lower Elkton Rd., Columbiana, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 5:15 a.m. at the Salem Community Hospital from infirmities of age. Mr. Pittman was born December 10, 1918 in Waverly, West Virginia, the son of Harry and Barbara Windgrove Pittman. Harry moved to Columbiana in 1940. He was employed at Deming Pump Co. of Salem which is now known as Crane Deming. He was a machinist and maintenance man for 40 years. Harrry was a member of the Zion Hill Church of the Brethren in Columbiana. Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by on January 11, 2003 by his wife, the former Florence E. Wellendorf. Survivors include a daughter Shirley Reash and her husband Rolland of Columbiana and a son Ronald and his wife Ellen Pittman of Columbiana, six grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Harry was preceded in death by a sister Pauline Steele and brothers Howard Pittman, Frank Pittman, William Pittman and a great granddaughter. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Rev. John Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
