Harry "Russ" Thompson, age 52 of Salem, OH passed away Saturday December 11, 2010 at his home. Mr. Thompson, the son of Harry and Carolyn (Callahan) Thompson, was born on April 18, 1958 in Midland, PA. Russ was disabled but in earlier years had worked as a laborer at the steel mill in Midland, PA, he had also worked as a carpet installer and in the landscape business and also worked at the Shaker Woods Festival in Columbiana, OH. He was also a graduate of Midland High School, Midland, PA class of 77 Russ is survived by his parents, Harry and Carolyn Thompson, of Industry, PA. Other survivors include, son Ryan M Thompson of Salem, OH, daughter Rebecca L. Thompson, of Columbiana, OH, and brother Joseph "Joby" Bethel Thompson of Hopewell, OH. The family has arranged that there will be no calling and also no services for Russ.
