Helen Irene Jaeger, 84, of Boardman, Ohio passed away at 10:50 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Hospice House in Poland, following a six month illness. Helen was born on December 9, 1924 in Butler, Pennsylvania, the daughter of H.G. and Kaletta (Overlander) Cushing. Mrs. Jaeger was a graduate of Boardman High School and of Traphagen School of Design in New York City. Helen is survived by her husband, Christian Frederick Jaeger, Jr., whom she married August 2, 1947. Other survivors include one daughter, Connie L. (Richard) Curto of Barrington, Illionis; one son, Christian W. (Andrea) Jaeger of Boardman, Ohio, and four grandchildren. Mrs. Jaeger was preceded in death by one brother, Dr. L. D. Cushing. A private service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
