Helen L. Willis, 82, of 1229 Columbiana-Lisbon Rd. Lot #88 Columbiana, Ohio, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Willis was born on February 15, 1927, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Merl and Freida Emig Berryman. Helen had worked as a bookkeeper at Citizens Bank of Columbiana, the former Columbiana Motor Company of Columbiana and she retired from Dickey Electric Supply of North Lima. She was a member of the Grace Church of Columbiana where she served as past board member of Christian Education. Helen graduated from Columbiana High School in 1944 then attended Youngstown College. Mrs. Willis was preceded in death on February 10, 1993, by her first husband Andrew J. Cartwright. She was also preceded in death on March 30, 2008, by her husband Bill L. Willis, whom she married August 3, 1991. Survivors include a daughter Deborah (Ronald) Russell of Columbiana; a son Randall (Christine) Cartwright of Clarion, PA; a step-daughter Susan Jackson of Homeworth; a step-son Dr. John (Laurann) Willis of Plain City, OH; a brother Richard (Jo) Berryman of Columbiana; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. There will be no services or calling hours.
