NORTH LIMA - Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Mount Olivet United Church of Christ for Hilton Hart Jones, age 86, who died Tuesday evening at his home. Hilton was born in East Palestine, Ohio, and had been a veteran of World War II, having served from 1943 to 1945 in the Army under the command of General George Patton. He was a member of the Mount Olivet United Church of Christ for over 56 years; during that time he had served as an Elder in the church. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Muriel; two daughters, Marianne (William) Pemberton, Jill (James) Scovern; grandchildren, Eric (Melanie) Pemberton, Shannon (James) Eller, Vince Scovern and Sara (Matt) Shields, and a brother, Richard Jones. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Jones and Charles Jones Jr. Friends may call from 2:30 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. Friday at the Mount Olivet United Church of Christ. Arrangements are by the Seederly Mong and Beck Funeral Home in North Lima.
