Jean Snyder, 84, of Columbiana, OH, passed away at 6:50 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Whispering Pines, Columbiana, after a brief illness. Mrs. Snyder, the daughter of Harry M. and Bessie "Sally" (Keener) Williams, was born on May 11, 1927 in Plumville, PA. In earlier years Jean was employed as a floral designer and hairdresser and was a member of the Simon Road Church of God. Mrs. Snyder is survived by her husband Richard C. Snyder, whom she married September 4, 1945. She is also survived by son Richard H. (Teresa) Snyder, Salem, daughter Sandra Jean Hofus, Columbiana, and grand children, Chad (Linda), and Mark, also great grandchild Nicholas. Jean is preceded in death by sister Mildred Mellott. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 8, 2011, Service following at 11:00 a.m. at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, Columbiana. Burial will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Austintown.
