Jeffrey Aaron Zohnd, 28, of Duquesne St. Columbiana, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, as a result of injuries from an automobile accident on Chestnut Grove Rd. in Salem. Aaron was born on March 26, 1983 in Salem, Ohio, the son of Jeffrey A. and Deborah L. Baker Zohnd. Aaron had worked at Exal in Struthers. He was a graduate of Heartland Christian High School in 2001 where he played basketball and soccer in school and was a referee for area soccer teams. Aaron loved spending time with his daughter Kayden and he also enjoyed his pet snakes. Aaron is survived by his wife, the former Stephanie Lamb, whom he married August 8, 2008; a daughter Kayden Nicole, age 3, at home, his parents Jeffrey & Deborah Zohnd of Columbiana; three sisters Bridget (Tom) Phillis Habak of Columbiana, Whitney Zohnd and FiancAC.e Jake Simms of Lisbon, Addison Zohnd and Ryleigh Zohnd both of Columbiana, three brothers Ethan Zohnd, Maurice Zohnd and Elliot Zohnd all of Columbiana; Grandparents Roger and Dorothy Baker of Salem and George and Dorothy Zohnd of Columbiana; three nieces Lexi, Kassandra and Katelyn Habak and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Aaron was preceded in death by his brother Brandon Phillis. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Greenford Christian Church, with Mr. Sean Kelly officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana and 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Greenford Chrisitan Church. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kayden Zohnd Educational Fund at any Branch of the P.N.C. Bank.
