Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home 154 South Elm Street PO Box 1 Columbiana, Ohio 44408 330-482-3788 Joe Keck, 87 of 14409 Market Street, North Lima, passed away on June 14, 2007 at Salem Community Hospital. Mr. Keck was born on August 26, 1919 in Poland, the son of Joseph and Rose Sullock Keck. Joe was a life-long area resident. He was employed as a welder at Stamets Company in Columbiana until he retired. He was previously employed as a bricklayer for 45 years. Mr. Keck was a 1937 graduate of North Lima High School. Mr. Keck was a member of the Grace Church of Columbiana. Joe was a W.W. II Navy Veteran, serving in the Pacific Theatre on the USS LSM. He was a member and past commander of V.F.W. Post 5532 of Washingtonville and American Legion Benjamin Firestone Post 290 of Columbiana. Mr. Keck is survived by his wife Mary "Tommie" E. Manchester, whom he married on February 1, 1941. He is also survived by one daughter, Carol (Paul) Neidlinger of Youngstown; one son, Eric (Margie) Keck of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister, Dorothy (George) Bush of Orange City, Florida; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Forney and three brothers, Emery, Lawrence and Edward Keck. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2007 at the Grace Church with Rev. John Brownsberger officiating. Friends and Family may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday, June 17, 2007. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery where the American Legion Post #290 of Columbiana will conduct a Military Honors Service.
