Obituary

ALLIANCE - John Lee Brown, 33, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, July 28 at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born on November 11, 1981 in Salem, the son of John D. Brown and Diana Zarnosky Brown Harroff. He graduated from Crestview Local High School. John, known affectionately as Lee by many, also graduated from TDDS Technical Institute with a CDL truck driving license. He currently was employed as a service writer at Montrose Ford in Alliance, where he earned employee of the month for May. Also, he previously worked as a service writer at Columbiana Ford, a parts manager for Pep Boys and Auto Zone, briefly drove truck at Werner Trucking Company, and his favorite job was an assistant manager for his Dad at John's Complete Auto in Salem. John enjoyed the outdoors and lived life to the fullest. He worked on his guns, played some guitar and took care of his vehicles - his Mustang and F-150, and going fishing. He loved animals and never missed an opportunity to get together with his family, whether it was a cook-out, birthday party, going to Summit or Quaker; and he loved watching the spring Super Nationals and drag racing. But most of all, he cherished his roles as brother, son, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Diana Harroff and her husband Dan of Columbiana, his father John D. Brown and his wife Debbie of Alliance, fiancAC.e Debbie Millikin of Alliance, sisters Stacey (Jason) Sevacko of East Palestine, Brooke Brown of East Palestine and Coby (Brant Griffith) Brown of New Springfield, stepbrothers and sisters Deanna Mason of Pittsburgh, Derek (Missy) Mason of Columbus, Drew Mason of Salem, Michael A. Brown and wife Kathleen of Sumter, S.C., and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death is his maternal grandfather Robert L. Zarnosky. John will also be joining his unborn child. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana with Minister Tim Brown, John's uncle, officiating.
