Columbiana - John E. Fabry, 50, passed away April 23, 2016 at his home in Columbiana. John was born on September 18, 1965, in Youngstown, OH, a son of Mike and Mary (Kollar) Fabry. A South Range High School graduate, John attended Mahoning County Joint Vocational School to become certified as an electrician. He was self-employed at "Johnny Juke-Box," where he excelled at home entertainment system installation. John enjoyed going on Facebook to share what he learned as an historian for Columbiana Village. He was a member of the Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club, with his call sign being KC8SPF. He took pride in being a first responder for the EMA for both Mahoning and Columbiana counties. John will be greatly missed by his brothers Steve Fabry of North Lima and Michael Fabry of New Springfield; his sister Georginia Kerr of North Lima; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Bill Kerr. A memorial will be held from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Youngstown Elser Metro Airport, 10800 Sharrott Road, North Lima, OH 44452. The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that if friends wish donations may be made in John's memory to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.
