WARREN - A memorial service will be held at a later date for Joy A. Sanders who passed away on Friday, June 17 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. Mrs. Sanders was born on April 12, 1938 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of Robert and Jane (Wiff) Alexander. She married Lawrence Sanders in 1971. Some of her favorite pastimes were reading, crafts, and most of all playing with her grandchildren. Joy leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughters Cara (Gary Zimmerman Jr.) Sanders of New Philadelphia, OH, Tami (John) Delphia of Aurora, and Cindy Newbrough of Niles; her son Michael (Donna) Shook of Mineral Ridge; 11 grandchildren Joe, Shane, Gage, Dylan, Ryan, Jarrod, Kevin, Alex, Sara, Jake and John; and four great-grandchildren Ross, Amelia, Sophia and Romy Rain. She was preceded in death by her mother and her husband Lawrence who passed away May 17, 2000.
