Kathryn L. Johnson, 55, of Columbiana, Ohio, passed away on Thursday morning, March 13, 2008 following a one year illness. Mrs. Johnson was born May 22, 1952 in Salem, Ohio, the son of Gaylord and Margaret (Shockley) Zellers. Kathryn was a lifelong Columbiana resident. Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Leetonia High School in 1971 and attended the First Christian Church in Columbiana. She worked with the Auxiliary Police, E.M.T.'s and worked security at Columbiana Foundry, in earlier years. Kathryn was a co-founder of the Explorers Post of Columbiana. Kathryn is survived by her husband; Bradley S. Johnson, whom she married on December 8, 1997. She is also survived by two daughters; Jennifer (Jeremiah) Rouse of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Sarah (Brandon) Good of Winona, one son; Joe (Shawn) Eberle of Ypsilanti, Michigan, three sisters; Joan (Lyall) Rogers of Sunbury, Ohio, Gayle (Donald) Rugh of Columbiana, Sandy (Donald) Longshore of McCormick, South Carolina, one brother; Ron Zellers of Salem and three grandchildren; Jayna Eberle, Brent Eberle and Brandon Good, Jr.. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Mr. Clarence Mansfield officiating. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Monday, March 17, 2008 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana. The family suggests that material contributions be made to A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
